What is Indian sandstone?

Indian sandstone comes from quarries across India and is shipped to the UK as flagstones or sawn blocks for outdoor paving projects. It is a sedimentary rock formed from compressed sand and mineral particles, making it naturally durable and relatively affordable compared to some other natural stones.

The stone typically appears in warm earth tones: reds, oranges, golds, browns, and sometimes pale yellows or buffs.
